What Is It? A development and coaching program designed to support minority groups to navigate their way through life, workplace and career challenges. The programme aims to help you explore you unique strengths and challenges through a more focused and relevant racial lens and gets to the heart of what truly matters Six 60 min focused coaching sessions with intra session learning and development. Optional additional sessions built in as needed and agreed. Outcomes 1. Increased awareness of your potential, what gets in the way and how to take control to realise even more. 2. Explore and learn about what truly matters to you and why this is important for your potential. 3. Develop and practice the tools and strategies you need to navigate race related challenges and excel your career forward. 4. Increase confidence in your own capability to take on systemic challenges specific for ethnic minorities. Topics Explored Your coaching programme is tailored and designed with you, for you and your unique needs. Based on these requirements, you may explore some of the below topics during your sessions: Self-awareness – Become clear about what is helping and hindering your best potential - includes race related factors Ethnic Perspectives – Reflections on your success and challenges paying attention to your unique cultural conditions Bias – Understanding types of bias, how our own and other peoples’ bias shape thinking Inclusion – Approaches to create inclusive teams and enable diversity to truly thrive Purpose, Values & Strengths – Understanding your strengths and value to help find your purpose Positive Confrontations – Strategies to help confront prejudice positively and encourage open dialogue in the workplace Learning from traumatic experiences – Impact of trauma and how these experiences shape and condition you Practical Tools – Tools to apply like finding sponsors, building networks, resilience strategies etc.
