Service Description
What is it? A coaching program tailored for organisational leaders to support them through their career and role effectiveness challenge and opportunities. Coaching is a partnering relationship used to support, challenge, hold to account, provide feedback and observations that raise awareness and facilitate sustained change. Organisational leaders value the space, independence and impartiality that coaching provides to help them do their best work. What do Leaders Get? 1. Increased awareness of leadership capability including an assessment of what's helping and hindering their potential. 2. Space to recognise and explore blockages with direct non judgemental feedback and observations to challenge their thinking. 3. Increased levels of self awareness with shifts in thinking and behaviours. 4. Confidence and capability in working through and solving problems on their own. Coaching Scenarios The coaching programme is tailored and designed specific to the leader and the areas of focus that have been identified to work on. Organisational leaders I work with typically explore some of the following topics: Effective Communication – Explore ways of improving communications with team, stakeholders, peers etc Conflict – Finding solutions to manage conflict and deal with difficult situations and people. Fears– Facing into leadership fears around decision making, likability, emotional reactions etc. Clarity – Getting clear and concise in leadership thinking for vision setting, strategy planning, articulation of plan… Relationships – Building and leveraging the right relationships to get things done Team Effectiveness– Inspiring and achieving greater team performance. Bias – Understanding types of bias, and how this shapes perspectives. Supports organisational culture shift towards more inclusion and diversity Flow of the coaching program - Session 1 - Get to know each other: 1:1 session to start unpacking needs. - Session 2 - Gather Insights from line leader / team/ sponsor on perspectives and good outcomes. potential 360 assessments if deemed appropriate. Insights feed into the coaching plan - Session 3 - 4 to 6 Coaching Sessions to work on key outcomes from the coaching plan. Option to build in a mid way review with line leader as required. - Session Final - Review outcomes and observed changes with leader and their line lead / sponsor at the end of the coaching programme.
